How it all works
This is how the process will work:
- all prospective contestants will have to be nominated or recommended to us
- only 6 ladies will be invited to go through the selection process which will be online. They will be asked to complete a questionnaire and pay a £50.00 fee
- a panel of judges will score the ladies and their project idea according to the criteria set out by the international pageant
- only the top 2 ladies will be invited to a final face to face interview after which the final decision will be made

The concept behind the name
After thorough and careful research the directors of Miss Progress International came to the realisation that the world of pageants could do with a ''light'' pageant that still featured some of the traditional characteristics but that at the same time could be enriched with social content.
They decided that it would be great to set up a system where women from around the world could be given the role of Ambassadors of Progress in full compliance with their own culture, traditions and religion.
MISS PROGRESS INTERNATIONAL - Women for Progress is thus the realisation of the director's dream and sees the evolution of the classic beauty contest evolving into something of greater significance.
The name of the event refers to the concept of progress, it has deeply rooted values which are important and essential to the competition and requires each of the contestants to develop a community based projects, with reference to one the four topics listed below:
- Environment
- Health
- Human Rights
Each project is evaluated for it's feasibility and contents by a panel of judges. This panel will then choose a winner from each of the above mentioned topics and of course the project that has scored the highest will enable it's author to be Miss Progress International.
